30 Day Book Challenge -- Day 8

Day 8 - A book everyone should read at least once

Wow. Only one book? A book everyone should read at least once, in my opinion, is Dracula by Bram Stoker. It is one of the greatest horror novels ever written and is classic literature. It started a phenomenon/fandom of vampires in horror and even though the types of vampires might change (daywalkers, sparkly, "vegetarian") the original premise of the vampire comes from this novel. Stoker managed to craft the ultimate vampire novel, which has spawned countless movies, spinoffs, and books that follow the blueprint of the Transylvanian count. I can not recommend this book more.

  1. Hiroshima by John Hersey. No one can even imagine the devestation brought by the a-bomb that hit Hirshima unless they read this. It is mind-changing.
