Day 4 - your favorite book or series ever
Picking a favorite book is really hard for me since I enjoy a lot of different books on different levels. But if I have to pick one book that is my favorite book EVER, I would have to pick Foxfire by Joyce Carol Oates. If you watched the movie starring Angelina Jolie, this book is a million times better. The characters feel more real, acts of rebellion in the story are more extreme, the setting is more appropriate, and it is just a compelling story. This book is on its way out of print so you might have to go to a library to get it so READ THIS BOOK!
Catch ²² by Joseph Heller. Laughed, cried, loved the absolutely true message. Novel does not follow chronological order- in fact skips arpund repeatedly so you need to read carefully, but I loved this too since it makes the novel stand out.
ReplyDeleteI've read this! I liked it. I am not a huge fan of Oates or her style of writing -- it's confusing! -- but I did like this.
